The Mind – Maze Quiz Competition at the Inter – Collegiate Level was held on Wednesday, the 7th of August, 2019. 23 teams from 13 different colleges all over Mumbai participated for this event. Out of whom, one of the teams of L. S. Raheja College, Bandra emerged as the Winner and received Rs. 6000 as cash prizes and a rotating trophy, while both the teams of St. Xavier’s College, Churchgate emerged in the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. During the quiz , a chance for the eliminated teams were given in the form of Wild Card Entry, out of which 2 teams entered as Wild Card Entrants. Also, Prof. Susan Lobo assisted by hosting for one of the Quiz rounds – “Spell the Bees”.
But, before the Inter – Collegiate Quiz took place, an Intra – Collegiate Level Quiz took place in the College, which was an elimination round, conducted on 17th July, 2019. This elimination round had the purpose of qualifying students to the inter – collegiate level and represent our college. 160 students participated in this elimination round, out of which 15 were qualified to the second elimination round held on 18th July, 2019. Finally, 2 teams were selected to represent St. Andrew’s College at the Inter – Collegiate Level.
