On Saturday, 14th September 2019, the Andrean E-Cell organized an interactive session with Maria Goretti, one of the most dynamic and versatile alumni of St. Andrew’s College.

The session began with a welcoming presentation showcasing the accomplishments of Maria over the years. As she began, she reminisced the past and explained to the students how it was sheer determination and hardwork that got her to where she is. Several students were awestruck with the passion she holds for everything she has done and the knowledge she has gained.

From being a dancer, producer, director, VJ, Celebrity Chef, model, actor, and much more, to being a full time mother. She has no regrets throughout her journey of life. A lot was learnt about chasing your dream and never stopping to learn. The session lasted for an hour, at the end of which, Maria welcomed questions from the eager Andrean audience. The questions ranged from curiosity on her experiences of diving to what it felt like being married to a celebrity. The takeaway from the talk was simple: Do what you love and love what you do. You will never have to ‘work’ a day in your life!
