Over the years, the seminar has covered diverse and relevant themes such as Water Conservation, Women in Media, Socio-Ecological Movements, Mumbai Studies, COVID-19 Pandemic, and Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting its interdisciplinary and contemporary approach .
The seminar process includes:
- Orientation & Induction Sessions to introduce research fundamentals
- Lecture Series & Workshops on research methodology, data collection, analysis, and academic ethics
- Paper Presentation Rounds where students present their research before expert judges
- Evaluation & Feedback focusing on originality, depth of research, and presentation skills
For instance, in 2021–22, students presented research on the COVID-19 pandemic and its socio-economic impacts, with structured evaluation and awards for best papers .
