On 27th June, 10:30 AM, the new addition to the college i.e. the renovated L10 room was
unveiled with the blessings of our Managing Trustee, Father Clarence Fonseca, and graced by
the presence of our respected Principal Dr. Marie Fernandes, Vice Principal Dr. Desiree
 Gonsalves and members of staff.

The inauguration of L10 was a long-anticipated event that
lived up to its hype with the cutting of the ribbon by Father Clarence. The interiors were
overseen and designed by Dr. Desiree herself along with the help of Ashley, the architect and
 Roosevelt and his work team.

The room will primarily be used as a place for the online
evaluation of examination papers, meetings, conferences and the recording of lectures. With
16 computers and 8 laptops usable on a 12-seater round table in the center, it will be perfect
 for conferences.

Two sessions- one with the Degree College staff and the other with the Self
Finance Degree College staff, were held in order to explain the functionalities of the
smartboard. This was done by the newly appointed PR Team, who also unveiled the
brand-new St. Andrew’s College website. A unique addition to the revamped, redesigned
website, that has been made more relevant is the first time feature: a virtual tour of the
college campus powered by Ghoom 360.

Mr. Savio Fernandes, cyber expert, guided the team
and Mayur and Chintan from OnFees also worked closely with them, to enable this. OnFees
very kindly provided the smart projector and camera, which will surely be put to good use in
the recording of lectures. Dr. Desiree Gonsalves introduced the student PR Team which
constituted of the PR Head Gavin Albuquerque (SYBMS); the website team made up of Ian
Almeida (SYBMS), Brian Aranha (SYBMS), and Naethan D’Souza (SYBAF); the head of
photography and overlooking social media, Shane D’Souza (SYBAF) and web designers and
qualified digital media students, Aaron Nar (TYBcom) and Felix (TYBcom).

Both sessions were recorded and played later in order to give an idea to the staff as to how the recording
and playback function is to be used. Surely, this was the beginning of the building of St.
Andrew’s both as a brand and as an organization in the digital space.
